Decided that London is ..too hot for my liking so booked for Cyprus flying out tomorrow for a few days. Cyprus Airways is by far the better airline serving Cyprus the problem for me is that it flies in and out of Heathrow which is rather inconvinient since Gatwick is only a 20 minute drive and of course prices are so much cheaper. Booked with Easyjet for £194.00 , CA on the other hand are asking for similar flight time etc £320.00 some 65% more or £126.00 or ...21 bottles of table wine more.
I also booked two more flights for my self and my brother flying out on July 16th to attend a family wedding , total cost with Easyjet including my flight tomorrow £670 , CA would have cost for the three tickets £1260.00
not peanuts in anyones pocket , £590.00 to be exact which means over 700 euros or about ... 100 bottles of wine , that is a good 70 days supply of the nectar !!
I usually acquait costs of things by wine bottles , full ones of course , each bottle normally about £6.00 delivered to my door.

Talking about Euros , Im pleased to see our STG gaining ground against the Euro , good for Cyprus's tourist industry and spot on my forecast of sometime back !! "Still on the up , not long before Stg hits 1.20 !! "

Although I'm booked to come on July 16th for a family wedding , this trip is to see little Yiannis who fell while being boisterous and cracked open his little nose just below the eyebrows , saw him on skype Tuesday he kept saying ELA PAPPOU , so I'm coming !!!

While price is important I think convenience ect is important to. I have just flown Stansted Larnaca for £220 return with C.A which is a fair price as all drinks were free the meal was free, also I was over wait on luggage they didn,t charge . Taking in parking charges and fares to different airports and the add-ons these cheap air lines impose I,ve just booked for sept with C.A again at £264

Paphitis , I'm a regular flyer to Cyprus this year alone 4 times plus 2 in July making 6 flights in all so far. £120 per flight average saving makes a tidy sum. I agree that CA is the best but I cant afford the best that flies out of Heathrow which is inconvenient to me. Besides I'm a working ...boy !!
Easyjet is pretty fair , you pay for drinks etc but nowhere near £125 !!

lol re you think cyprus is going to be colder then england this time of year?.. engAND? TOO HOT? last sunmer i was there we needed heating and this year i read its 27?!?! hot??!?! its warm, not cold but not hot either
