Varosha/Maras,any changes this summer?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I thought the Governments are working together to plan a complete revival of Varosha. There are three concept hotel complexes have been designed by Laxia Inc. This is what I knew. Am I wrong?

VP,

If the RoC unilaterally declares direct flights are OK, how would the international community respond?

Allow exactly that direct flights to fly directly into Ercan airport which everyone can use, no more no less. This does not mean recognition.

I was no thinking of recognition, but of some benefit to the RoC in general. The other way round, it is a move by the military superior power showing magnanimity and a sense of justice.

I don't think that the RoC can make any allowances for the TC's in regard to flights or trade. I am sorry they have rights as other Cypriots in the RoC and if they wish to exercise those rights they are well within their rights to do so.

For as long as they occupy land that does not belong to them, and as long as they deny the rights of their compatriots to access their lands, properties, and Country there should be no lifting of economic embargoes, no recognition of airports and airspace or any other allowance that will give them access to the international economy as they deny others of the opportunity to benefit from their possessions.

I support that the RoC provide employment opportunities for TC's wishing to work in the RoC, health care should be provided to those who pay taxes to the RoC and educational opportunities similar to other Cypriots.

Nikitas: I have a question in relation to the foreign companies you have alluded too before: are they purchasing GC owned land or TC owned land and if its GC land how do they get permission to do so according to the law?

Are we in essence buying back what we already own?

Nothing.

I'll move to Varoshia & open a woodworking shop to help rebuild.
You can work for me as an apprentice...

Why would we exchange Varoshia with anything?

Is the capture of Varoshia part of "protecting" the TC minority during the Attila operations?

If yes, to your opinion, then how & why a ghost town is helping "protect" the TCs?

Using the captured city as a bargaining chip did not work for 36 years, why should it work now?

As a gesture of good will, the city must be returned without anything in return.

Do you know what a "gesture of good will" means?

İ know very well what good gesture means as we do not see anything with regards to gcs taking steps towards unification as you yourself said why should you do anything then i have to ask why not? As for marash you use direct flights and trade as a bargining chip then why should we do the same with Maras?
