In North Cyprus, Turkish Cypriots can move around as they please,

They're moving straight to the UK. As they please.

are not villified or threatened physically

As long as they don't question the occupation.

nor are they treated as second class sitizens in their own country.

That must be why there are so few left. Ungrateful bastards.

Those who question the so-called occupation; actually they question the corruption in TRNC(both in government and military) are all still have been living in TRNC despite the anti-democratic political attitude from some circles towards them...

The Afrika family and all their supporters, YKP, BKP and all their supporters are still in TRNC... They have no intention to emigrate to another country...

"You" called TCs as Anatolian or Ottoman Settlers until British rule? Or always?

Why didn't "you" care about what you supposedly call as TCs today; when they were emigrating by thousands during the early days of British rule and during the inter-communal conflict?

Then they were Anatolian Ottoman settlers "invading" and "occupying" "your" island; so that "you" welcomed their emigration with great happiness?

When exactly the Anatolian Ottoman settlers became TCs in "your" minds and hearts? After 1974 or when you hear them emigrating from TRNC?

When "you" need to score a political point in favour of your "tribe", they are extincting TCs; when "you" don't, they are "remnants" of Anatolian, Mongolic, Turkic Ottoman "invaders"?

AWE wrote:great work by the GC lobby now how are you going to convince the TCs that you mean them no harm?

We are in war with them because they and Turkey illegally occupy 1/3rd of our island. We will "mean them no harm" when they will "mean us no harm" by returning our lands and rights. Until then they are our enemy and they shall be treated accordingly.

If you look for war you get war, if you look for peace you get peace.
If you want total victory you will only have war, if you want compromise you will find peace.

The banning of goods for use by Turkish Cypriots that were not ever a threat. The loans granted for development which were freely handed to GC businesses of which TC businesses could hardly access.....

Someone had a contingency plan then and did everything to implement it - go pull the other leg. If GC powers that be wanted to live in peace with TCs they could have. Denial of responsibilities is not an argument that you can use to justify the actions of GCs in the partition of the island however frequently you wish to apportion all the blame on Turkey and TCs.

But Acikgoz I have already shown to you that the partition plan of Turkey and TCs existed long before what you are trying to use today as your excuse.

If your aim was not partition and all you wanted was to be equal Cypriot citizens then you wouldn't start massacring GCs in the 50s. You wouldn't burn down the shops and homes of innocent people in the 50s. You wouldn't collaborate with foreign Imperialists in the 50s to impose on Cyprus an unfair constitution that discriminated against the majority of the population.

Peace will come AFTER the country/land is returned to the rightful owners.
