You’re just hallucinating from the shock and disappointment!

No shock - we could see it coming a mile away.
No disappointment - we got the free air time and the money back.
:D

You and the rest of the English peasants saw F/A coming , your one single brain cell would not cope !!

When was the last time the GCs didn't get their way, like spoilt brats? Of course we saw it coming, dolt!
The more you fuck with the TRNC the less you are going to get out of them in the long run, but I'm sure you know best.

You really didn't think J-Lo was ever going to come, did you? We knew you guys were going to nause it up, like you always do. We're used to it and we can take it.:

I didn't but your mate VP definitely did

So? don't look like shes backing out.

She has signed a contract and stands to lose big money if she backs out, why dont you GCs make a counter offer of 5 million USD? ho sorry forgot your economy is heading down the tubes.

Hello the deal was signed with her agent in the USA.

she is not political but you gcs want to label her in that fashion then if forced to do so she has accepted to take the stage in the TRNCyou GCs are also welcome to attend the concert.

sounds like you are sick to your stomach that such a world star can come to the TRNC and all the world publicity that comes with such an event.

The deal has been signed she has even demanded the hummer pick her and her enterage including hubby and twins of 80 up from Ercan airport and even sented cantles in her residential suite....its all set she takes the stage on the 24th July, her birthday.

Shes celebrating her 41st Birthday in the TRNC, the number 80 reflects her entourage, her husband Mark Anthony and twin babies are also coming with her to the TRNC.

And my personal favourite

Do you GCs think you can stop Jennifer Lopez?

What can I say? Some of us are optimists and some of us are pesimists.
Optimists can only be disappointed.
Pesimists are sometime pleasantly surprised.
Our turn will come. :D

TCs - if you want to stop being seen as the thieves you currently are, push your leadership to come to the negotiating table with positions that are reasonable.

You are 18% of the population and own 12% of the land. Understand that you will never have an effectively independent, ethnically cleansed country on 30% of the island (even if that is what the likes of Annan and Downer promote at the request of their bosses i.e your patrons).

You can have some autonomy and administer say 27% of the land in a true federation, provided that full human rights apply, all GCs go back to their homes etc, as per the agreements in the late 1970s etc.

Or, you can propose an effectively separate state, fully Turkish, ethnically cleansed, on say 18-20% of the island (even this is generous in light of your land ownership).

Both of the above options are fair, even though painful for us, and would be acceptable by GCs at referendum in order to put the past behind.

Continue to reject fairness and demand "spoils of war" at the expense of your GC compatriots and you will continue to receive slaps on the face, as thieves should.

keep dreaming.....I'll wake you up when the time is right.

fine.. you want to continue behaving like dirty little thieves and criminals instead of finding a fair solution? go right ahead.. but don't complain about the world spitting on your face, coz that's what thieves and criminals deserve!

This from the TorontoSun

http://www.torontosun.com/entertainment ... story.html

Jennifer Lopez has withdrawn from a gig in Cyprus after critics slammed her for agreeing to the show on the 36th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of the European island.

The singer was billed to perform at the opening of new hotel complex Cratos Premium in the Turkish Cypriot part of the popular tourist destination on July 20.

But she's scrapped the show after learning it coincides with a day islanders would rather forget, insisting she would never have agreed to the concert in the first place if she knew about the history and relevance of the date.

A representative tells TMZ.com, "After a full review of the relevant circumstances in Cyprus, it was the decision of management to withdraw from the appearance. This was a team decision that reflects our sensitivity to the political realities of the region."

Previously, officials at the Cyprus Action Network of America started a campaign calling on Lopez to scrap the gig as it falls on the anniversary of the date that Turkish troops invaded the Greek-owned island in 1974.

Which islanders would that be, then? Greek islanders or Turkish islanders?
Once again showing that a lot of the worlds press knows only half the story (The Greek Cypriot half).

Silence from our friends in the South.
