TCs - if you want to stop being seen as the thieves you currently are, push your leadership to come to the negotiating table with positions that are reasonable.
You are 18% of the population and own 12% of the land. Understand that you will never have an effectively independent, ethnically cleansed country on 30% of the island (even if that is what the likes of Annan and Downer promote at the request of their bosses i.e your patrons).
You can have some autonomy and administer say 27% of the land in a true federation, provided that full human rights apply, all GCs go back to their homes etc, as per the agreements in the late 1970s etc.
Or, you can propose an effectively separate state, fully Turkish, ethnically cleansed, on say 18-20% of the island (even this is generous in light of your land ownership).
Both of the above options are fair, even though painful for us, and would be acceptable by GCs at referendum in order to put the past behind.
Continue to reject fairness and demand "spoils of war" at the expense of your GC compatriots and you will continue to receive slaps on the face, as thieves should.
NO! Never sign away any part of out country. We do NOT tear up our baby of thousands of years to feed the criminals. They have to be made to understand that we will never relinquish any part of our country and only then they might leave. So stop tempting them with a possible reason to stay!
