hi Jen.. you need to know few things 1st.

it isnt cheap over here so if you dont have a good job with a good pay you wont afford to live alone, you will end up sharing the apt with someone so its good idea if ya came wv a friend, better than looking for a stranger to be your roommate !!

bar work doesnt pay out a lot, you wont be able to have a day off !!

most people work in bars and clubs barely can live and skinned all the time (they say its the price one`s pay to live under the sun)

but personally i find it waste of time !!! you not living to only work, you work because it helps you living !!!

and bar work only available in summer !! as soon as winter shows up there is no work, not in bars not any where else to be honest, so my advice is..

save up some cash, come over next year in the beganing of the summer, see how it works for you, if ya can get a stable year around job, you will love it, if you couldnt find a job you will hate it..

about gay bars and clubs..

its boring, i know one in Larnaca and one in Pafos but yet all gay people i know go out with us to normal places where no one really care if you gay or not !!!!

and dont you worry there is quite a lot of lesbien girls here , planity of gay guys also..

ive got couple of friends are gay if you will settle down here ill be glad to introduce you !

Yeh i was thinking id definately need to flatshare with someone! Ideally try get a mate to move over but they all either have ties here or not even cash to move

I know bar work isnt great pay, the same as back home, minimum wage thats it and yeh, the rest is made up in tips.

I was thinking that im thinking about this just a bit too late for this year, just unfortunate my work arent willing to release me until the end of august

I think your probably right about waiting until next year...gives me more time to save up cash...or blow the cash i have already saved up lol!

As for the gay places, i think iv kinda came across wrong with it. Yes i like to socialise in gay places but im more just worried incase i move over and they are alot of narrow minded people who wont accept gays if you like. Basically i just know where i can go here and feel comfortable and know where not to go because gays arent really accepted... If that makes sense? Lol
