I`m able to adjust mpg values reading fault codes adjusting idle speed changing language and regional settings able to change miles to km or back and a lot more.

I can imagine you can do heaps with such a setup… are you a car mechanic? If not how did you get your hands on the software?

My wife’s new Honda started beeping when it got to, I think 60,000 Km, and the guys just plugged it in, toggled a setting and the beep was gone!

Around 5-6 years ago I was going to start a business supplying & installing full-Windows computer systems for cars but the interface connector proprietary nightmare finally put me off! Car manufacturers are also charging ridiculous prices for their software!

This world would’ve been such a better place if it weren’t for so much greed… :(

Get Real i`m not a car mechanic but i work with cars and i bought the cable from Romania(:D) and i got the Vw software for it and it works perfectly. I bought it because i have a vw passat and i did not want to let my car in hands of the "stealership" unicars :D i had a airbag sensor error and my car was also beeping like hell and icon popped up every time i started the car i asked a car electrician how much would be and they sad its about 170 euros witch i tough is a little bit high priced as he saw i`m not cypriot so i shortly after i received the vag and i get the error code 10 min search on vw forums on the internet and i found a tutorial how to fix it, took me 10 min to take apart the front airbag and connect back 1 harness duck taped it back not to come out again than reset the ecu of the car and since than everything works fine. So i managed not to be fooled by a local car electrician and cost me 0.95 cents for the tape and 10-15 work.
