CTA AND ATLAS-JET REACH AGREEMENT ......... not a joke !
Cyprus Turkish Airlines and Turkish airliner Atlas-Jet have reached an agreement on a 50-50 profit sharing for five years. According to the agreement, all flight of CTA will be carried out with the Atlas-Jet fleet under the name of “Cyprus Turkish” until the establishment of a new company.
The new company will begin flying as the “New Cyprus Turkish Airlines” in May 2011, the latest.
According to the agreement reached, 450 employees would keep their jobs at the airline.
Speaking at the end of a meeting at the TRNC Prime Ministry yesterday, said they succeeded in overcoming the problems in partnership talks.
He said “this is a 50-50 profit sharing agreement and a 49:51 joint venture”.
PM added that 12-thousand passengers, who brought their tickets earlier, would be carried by AtlasJet free of charge.
