Reminding that the issue of property was being discussed at the Cyprus negotiations process, Eroglu said
“we conveyed to the UN Chief our position that we don’t want to move on to another topic while discussions on this topic continue”.
"
Now, we must conclude negotiations in a certain period of time and come to the point of a referendum," Eroglu said. "Now, it is time to put a time limit to negotiations."
Recalling that Greek Cypriot side was an internationally recognized state and an EU-member country, Eroglu said, "however, Turkish Cypriot side has been facing embargoes for years. It is ok for them to kill the clock but it is not ok for us."
Eroglu also said that isolation of Turkish Cypriot side should be ended immediately.
"All the world knows that there are two communities, two democracies and two different governments is Cyprus. Yet, the world also knows that we are the one to be alienated and face isolation," he said.
