A large fire in the buffer zone from the occupying forces


A large fire broke out 1:30 On the afternoon near the buffer zone Koutrafa. The fire started simultaneously from six different sites and seem to put the Turkish occupying troops, who wanted to have a clear field of vision to the free areas.

The fire, which burnt vegetation was dry land three kilometers and soon extended to free perioches.Tethike under control shortly after 5:00 in the morning by powerful forces of the Fire Service of the Republic.

The fire, which burnt dry vegetation for three kilometers and which soon extended in to free areas, was brought under control soon after 5 in the morning by concerted efforts of the Fire Service of the Republic.

Μεγάλη πυρκαγιά στη νεκρή ζώνη από τα κατοχικά στρατεύματα

Μεγάλη πυρκαγιά ξέσπασε στι 1:30 μετά τα μεσάνυχτα στην περιοχή της νεκρής ζώνης Κουτραφά. Η φωτιά άρχισε ταυτόχρονα από έξι διαφορετικά σημεία και φαίνεται να τέθηκε από τα τουρκικά κατοχικά στρατεύματα, τα οποία ήθελαν να έχουν καθαρό το οπτικό πεδίο προς τις ελεύθερες περιοχές.


Η πυρκαγιά, η οποία κατέκαψε ξηρή βλάστηση είχε έκταση τριών χιλιομέτρων και σύντομα επεκτάθηκε και στις ελεύθερες περιοχές.


Τέθηκε υπό έλεγχο λίγο μετά τις 5:00 τα ξημερώματα από ισχυρές δυνάμεις της Πυροσβεστικής Υπηρεσίας της Δημοκρατίας.
