In fact I have the use of an adjacent apartment for my family now in return for looking after it in the owner's absence and getting it ready for them on the rare occasions they come over.

Do you have good references as a cleaner? Might hire you since you sound cheap and desperate (oh diddums) ... I have a spare shed you can bed-down in!

No sorry cannot help you out there Orifice. I don't even do my own cleaning. I am not very domesticated at all - hardly ever cook anything either.

I hand keys over (very tiring) and am around somewhere if anyone wants local info.

Ragd does the cleaning - mine too (and the ironing) and her husband cleans my car. And a very good job they make of it. But I doubt she'd travel to Paphos to clean for you (ooops! shoulda said Polis - sounds posher) I doubt she'd like to work for someone like you anyway.

Even tho you must be in DIRE need of a cleaner as you spend all your time on the internet (unless you've trained your family to do it and leave mum in peace to argue with cyber strangers!)

I only have to use my brain and my lappy to earn money. Why on earth would I spend time cleaning when I could work for 15 minutes to earn the money to pay someone else to do it?

You should think about trying 'working'. It keeps your brain sharp. You might not keep contradicting yourself so often.

There is a very good reason why the owner of these apartments needs someone in situ in Cyprus. She cannot now ever visit herself. But I ain't about to tell you the circumstances of that (sure you'll invent something anyway).

Well I love a laugh too Deniz. If only O had been born with a sense of humour or any personality - it might be funny.

I don't think it's funny when new members come on asking reasonable questions and you try to give them some tips or advice and misery guts barges in with her bucket of misery ice water and turns it into another EGO trip for her. Goodness knows what some of these newbies think and no wonder a lot of them never return.

If they are asking about rents for apartments I am sure they don't want it to turn into a pisstaking tirade by Orifice sniping at those who are only trying to help. Especially when she has NOTHING useful to add herself.

She is beginning to remind me of those shopkeepers who say they could run their business smoothly if only it were not for the pesky customers!

In her case, she could 'run' this forum the way she wants to - if only it were not for all those other members she doesn't want here. Or she is 'surprised Admin hasn't banned by now' to use one of her favourite 'innocuous' phrases!

I think she likes to see herself as the only female regular here. (If you don't count her multiple personalities - actually found a thread yesterday where she posted as BOTH Feenix and Orifice lol!)

Let her have the girls' playground to herself I say. She obviously has nothing else in her life to occupy her time.

It is wrong to say O has no sense of humour. Like many comedy duo's you have a funny guy and a straight guy. Even when Oracle manages to thrash threads - and O is one hell of an expert - she does it with a fine sense of humour. (in her own unique way).
