You cannot 'discuss' what Israel does and does not allow through in detail, because they refuse to publish any details.

There are lists in circulation - but no point in posting them here as you will refute them on the basis of where they came from. But the only way they can get the info is from reporting back by those who have failed to get stuff through.

I read that more stuff is coming through the tunnels than from anywhere else and that then ends up with it being overpriced and only those who can afford to buy it being able to do so.

I have been there!

What about you?

It is a disgrace in your opinion. The rocket attacks against Israeli civilians are also a disgrace.

Fight fire with fire.

There is no bigger disgrace than Turkey.

Yes there is! It is called the MUPPET state of ISRAEL! You tell me how many fucking Israeli civilians died and I will quote you 20 30 fold for Palestinians (from falling Israeli shells). You tell me how many Israeli children have died since the creation of Palestinian Gaza strip I will multiply that with 40 or 50 for Palestinians!

Israel is an oppressive nation using terror tactics and gun power to enforce its laws/views against defenseless civilians because "they are trying to fight Hasmas"!

Sure! What the fuck would you or any other Kurd symphathiser would say if Turkey blasted the hell out of South Eastern Anatolia or the newly formed US puppet Kurdish state in Northern Irak - in the name of destroying PKK terrorists (officially recognized as such by both USA and the EU - except Greeks of course!).

I AM FED UP OF HYPOCRITICAL VIEWS by those possessed by Turkish hatred and fear! Cure yourself from this Turkophobia and start thinking healthier. Every bit of fucking post I read against the Turkish aid to Palestine is so full of shit and bias - it has become boring. The problem with these posts and authors is being based "Turk's enemy is my friend!". Carry on and you will make yourself sick witnessing the developments in the opposite direction in today's free politics of the EAST.

starting in 2000, and as of January 2009 (latest figures i can find ) 8,600 rockets have been launched from Gaza resulting in 28 deaths in Israeli held palestine. while anydeaths are always regrettable it is hardly the thousands you claim.

read the article i posted - medical supplies are not being allowed in.

I understand simple fishing equipment, rods etc. are among the things that they will not allow through.

They admit to trying to starve the palestinians, but not quite starve them to death.

I find it hard to believe people who abhor the occupation of part of this country by another can excuse it happening elsewhere when it suits them.

But then I find it hard to believe any free thinking modern EU country would welcome Israel ending up as their only ally.

Esp. when they've posted so much stuff over the years about how the biggest friend and supporter of Israel (the US) were the bastards responsible to a large extent for the situation resulting in the occupation of part of this country.

The Israel/US/Turkey/Iran equation is being discussed in lots of places currently. Cyprus hardly ever gets a mention. Whatever makes people think they will feature large in any future shuffle or rearrangement of power in the Middle East?

Oh hang on, I just remembered, some of those people firmly believe Cyprus to be, not only a member of the EU, but situated firmly in the continent of Europe, therefore nowt to do with the middle east?

I am not sure if your reply was addressed to me or not (unspecific!). But let me elaborate on the figures a little more! during the 20 odd days of attacks on Gaza strip during 2009, I quote from the CBS news of the time:
"The PCHR said 894 of the dead were civilians, including 280 children and minors, age 17 and under, as well as 111 women. Of the remaining 390 dead, 167 were members of Hamas' civil police, many of them killed on the job during Israel's surprise attack on dozens of security compounds on the first day of the war.

The civilians not only included innocent bystanders, but also Hamas members killed in non-combat situations, such as Said Siam and Nizar Rayan, two top Hamas leaders assassinated, along with their relatives, in massive bombings of homes, said Ibtissam Zakout, head of the PCHR's research team.

The rest, or 223, were combatants, she said. That figure is higher than the 158 dead fighters acknowledged by Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other militant groups."

As for Israeli losses during the same time:
"During the war, 13 Israelis were killed, including three civilians struck by rockets. The other 10 were soldiers."

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/01/ ... 6224.shtml

I need not remind you that this refers to a 3 week period only in 2009! Your quote about rockets being fired from Gaza and subsequent 28 deaths in Israeli held Palestine(?) is a little confusing to say the least. But the pattern and the proportion of deaths above is typical of what has been going on for many years!

If your post was intended for me - yes! I was a sharpshooter in the army and served in Nicosia. Why I should come over as a spokesman for anyone puzzled me a bit! I assure you I speak from a wealth of knowledge and for myself only... :D

It's just tough love isn't it?

Listen, I couldn't give a stuff! But of Israel decides to blow Turkey to smitherines, then I will be throwing a party.

The Israelis belong here. The region is their homeland, and ours, whereas the same can not be said about Turkey!

If Turkey was a peaceful non hypocritical nation, then I might agree. But since Turkey puts Israel to shame, then f@$k you all!

Well I have news for you sweetheart! Israel could not blow the crows on Turkish border! If it comes to that - Israel would be wiped off from the map by the Turks! :D

Israelis are also well aware of this - hence, they are the ones who have been back pedaling over the past few weeks. Turkey has expressed in certain terms that they want no more military, political and economic collaboration with such a shit-state, unless and until they apologize and compensate for the piracy they carried out! You are clearly brainwashed by the selective reporting of the Greek press... :D

By the way, just in case it missed your eye, Erdogan's policies on Israel have been supported by the public at large in their tens of thousands. There has been street demonstrations in every major town, also supported by the Jews living in Turkey (I was pleasantly surprised to see anti Israel banners carried by Jewish Rabbis(!) and Turkish Jews") :D

You carry on dreaming amigo!
