Cyprus Turkish Airlines Flies Again

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Cyprus Turkish Airlines Flies Again

Postby halil » Wed Jun 23, 2010 10:15 am

Atlasjet becomes management partner of Cyprus Turkish Airlines and flights will start tomorrow.

Atlasjet's bid was accepted by KTHY(CTA) and became 50 percent management partner of KTHY(CTA) for five years.

Declaring CTA to be bust was deliberate and a golden opportunity for the TRNC gov to lay-off all the staff. Atlasjet could then take on the correct number of staff qualified to maintain and fly the planes. Unfortunately, the non-jobbers and hangers on who had enough clout/influence to get their previous sinecures may be rehired leaving Atlasjet exactly where CTA left-off.

Vaughanwilliams, so would I be correct in assuming that the hottest investments going right now are (1) The Turkish Lira and (2) the CTA? Image

The “TRNC” should employ your services as an investment advisor… 8)

Yes. Everything I've heard from TCs relating to CTA says it was OVERSTAFFED and that the staff were OVERPAID.

*and that none of them had learned how to smile lol!

I don't think anyone in TRNC would touch the Euro or Eurocypria with a long stick. 8)

What difference will it make? They are all Turkish airlines - so one of Europe's most populare Airline THY will have to make couple of extra flights to North Cyprus - so what? :D

The GC embargoes and pressures on North's tourism seems to have rewarded their biggest enemy's airline with more income and profits. Well done re "geri zekalilar".

Every night before I go to bed, I thank the Lord we have an enemy as stupid and foolish as the Greeks!

Do not worry about the little fish CTA in an Ocean, worry about how to save the "Greece 12 points" motherland's economy from collapsing further.
