You're welcome.:D
It's a fantastic place and it evokes a similar atmosphere to that which the more spiritual of us sense at the ethereal, rocky fissure at Delphi.

I wonder if there are any stories or myths associated with the Kaledonia Falls ...

I have been to the Kaledonia waterfall but cannot remember when or how that trip came about. I do remember it was followed by souvla in Platres.

It was spiritual in a way, it was the first time I fed olives to a horse and it ate them pits an' all. Also went horse riding and ever since that time the smell of maple trees is stamped in my memory along with horses. It is true that what they say about the sense of smell being the most emotionally close.

Aah! A Proustian moment :D The sense of taste and smell being interlinked. For me it's rhodostoma which captures homely warm Cyprus moments; with pine and jasmine close seconds.

The best thing about the Troodos is that there are still villages which have records going back countless centuries revealing that not a single "foreigner" has ever lived there (they will remain a closely guarded secret :D ). My hide-away in Greece boasts not a single Turk has managed to penetrate its manic towers and its spiritual quality is unsurpassable! Despite the countless invaders in Cyprus, there remain havens in Cyprus where the barbarians dared not go.

I wonder if there is a trait amongst Mongolians for Steppes and Plains which means our strongholds will always be the mountains. Perhaps Mongolians suffer from vertigo!

Answer to Jerry: in Troodos mountain you have gold but is not convenient to cave.
