So as most of you know im Egyptian.

i love my country, in the end of the day its my home,

i know the people, understand the mentality and i would do any thing for Egypt.

so i will let you know what is going on right now, hoping that me and people like me "political party called "KEFAYA"" will be able to take our message internationally.

why we are doing this?

because there is no freedom of speech, all sort of media wether E media , T media or news papers , all controled by the goverment who is corrupted.

the governemt only serve the presedent and people around him encluding his family.

our presedent "MOHAMED HOSNY MOBARAK" who says we are a democrate country is trying right now to change Egypt from a repuplic to a kingdom so his son "GAMAL MOBARAK" take over after him, he is 80 years old now and have been the presedent since 1973 .

Egypt is a rich country, we are over populated YET the income coming from tourism and Suiz canal is enough for indeviduals to live in a fair financial state, yet most of the money isnt going to the people but the presedent and the people on the top of the government pyramid.

not only the people have to live in a bad economical state but they have to suffer in silent, we are controled by power.

any one who dare to ellect him self against our beloved presedent end up in jail for life for different reasons, the most famous one is being a spy for Israel.. silly right..!!

lately poeple in Egypt specially the young generation had had enough, witch is the meaning for our political group "kefaya=enough"

we demand a clean ellections, where dead people cant vote !!!

we demand better wages, we demand the freedom to move inside the country "Egyptian arent allowed easily in some cities-only forigners are" !!

we demand the fall of the "country safty office -Amn El-Dawla" who is responsible for torture, kidnaping and murder of lots of free inocent people who dared to say we dont like whats going on.

we demand a new legal system , a new roles for the police because no one turns to the police for help, police only help who ever have money or well connected, so if you dont have an uncle who is well knows or a fat bank account, you will get beated up to death and not you nor your family can say a word.

why im saying this now... because i have a story for you,

its a real stroy with pictures .. im sorry to put up such pictures but this is reality..

my story is about a young man called Khaled Saed.

Khaled is a 28 years old male lives in the second biggest city in Egypt . Alexandria.

Khaled isnt a political active person, he is a family guy who take care of his mother.

Khaled month ago saw a police men drinking alcohol and selling drugs "Hashesh" and he video tape them, he then went home planing to put it up on youtube, his mother told him please dont do it they will hurt you but he didnt expect that they will, since their is planity of this sort of videos allready on youtube.

month later Khaled was in an internet cafe, Two police men came to him and beated him up to death..

please meet Khaled.

he is a fine peaceful young man who didnt drink-do drugs or nake trouple,
he never been arrested before , he doesnt have a criminal record and he is very loved by all his friends, neighbours and everyone he knows.

now meet Khaled after getting beated up by the police.. he is dead

.. the police men didnt even take him to the station, they beated him up infront of people in the streets, infront of his friends and then left his body on the ground and didnt bother to call an ambulance.. Khaled dies straight away in the street and he isnt the only one that this happen to him, there is dozens or hundereds or even thousands people get treated that way by the force who is suppose to protect us...

Khaled story is known thanks to his mother who wont stop before everyone know what happen to her son..

when the media couldnt stop Khaled story from spreading, the head police office stated that Khaled died trying to swallow 7 grams of weed !!!

thinking that people are stupid , right.. does this guy looks like he died shocking.. !!!!

and this is how the police allow us to speak our minds...

Yes, a beautiful country with so much potential. It's still at the crossroads of shaking off its Islamic legacy and morphing into a truly democratic free nation. The transition time is the hardest.

Good luck Egypt. You deserve more than this.

I visited Egypt last year. Whatever the govt say they are doing, it seemed to me (and to others returning there) the population have become 'more' Islamic than they were some years ago.

Shocking, Fig. I could not bring myself to enlarge the pictures you posted, I'm very sorry for his mother and family. I had a wonderful holiday some years ago in Egypt. The Egyptians are some of the nicest people I have ever met, I'm very sorry for you and your country.

The corrupt Egyptian government of Mubarak is yet another American-orchestrated crime against humanity! Easily bribed criminals are propped up in many countries around the world to serve American selfish interests at the expense of the locals. Almost the same (less violent but nonetheless totalitarian) is also happening in Jordan.

These criminals survive by eliminating all political competition under the guise of the American invented self-serving international scam… “Fight against terrorism” when, all the while they are the terrorists themselves!

The bribe is also paid to keep Israel "safe". If only the ordinary Yank knew how much it costs them to support Israel - probably enough to pay for a free health service.
