well, you do have a point.. all we ask for right now is for the united nations to supervise 2011 election , we have few candidates who can do a major change in Egypt.

Our 1st option who we hope will take over is Mohamed El Baradai ,

all youngsters political moves like 6 April movement , Kefaya and Algamaia alwataneya Leltaghier ( the national group of change) .

we might be under political and economic pressure but most of us are well educated and understand our right, shame we dont have a chance to be the smart brilliant people we are with Mobarak .

we have also the Islamic party who is quite strong but we young people think it will bring Egypt down , so we put our faith in ElBaradai , he is a liberal democrats .

and by puplishing this internationally we not only want an outsider hand but our bigger motive is to get the Egyptian specially the older generation who are very scared to know that its tme to speak up and any creminal should face the law even currapted police officer they no better than anyone else.

Egypt court sentences militant leader to death

A top Egyptian militant leader was sentenced to death on Wednesday for killing two police commanders and for organizing bomb attacks against security officials and tourists in the 1990s.

Abdel Hamid Musa Abu Aqrab, who headed the military wing of Al-Gama'a Al-Islamiya group, was charged with "pre-meditated murder" of two police commanders who were shot to death in 1992 and 1993.

Sorry to say Fig, I was with a group of your fellow country men last night and they believe it was drug related, and think it is a good way to stop drugs in Egypt by making an example of drug dealers ,

he is no drug dealer !!!!

this is what the police says to cover up their violent act!!

let me say some thing here also.

even if he was a drug drealer witch he not.. shouldnt the police file a report..!! shouldnt he face the law !!!

just to confirm its a cover up story the police also said he ran away from the army, and his family then showed up the letter from the govt that prove he did his army service !!

they said he was on drugs, when the otopsy report came to say his body was clean of drugs.

the shocking thing is he wouldnt be a drug dealer cause he doesnt need the money he isnt coming from a poor family !! and witnesses say he was beated up to death infront of everyone not for drugs or having drugs on him but for the video he toke for the police men who were dealing drugs and one of the police men in the video is one of the police men who pashed his head to death..!!

even if he was a creminal where is his human rights to be presented to the law!!

we aint living in an animal world, laws are there for a reason...!!

its not the 1st case of torture in Egypt!!

there is lots of Khaled Said who were unfortune to be coming from a poor families who couldnt afford to take the case nationally !!

I am not agreeing with it , just saying their opinions, personally I think it is disgusting, just like the Cypriot police who beat the two students on video and still not charged ..................

egypt.. went there once, never again. my wife hated it and so did my daughters. harrassed constantly by egyptian males, even the waiters in the hotel. my daughter was eleven at the time and they actually were trying to hit on her. i got into a lot of scuffles, in the end we ended up leaving early because the hotel manager warned me that if i punched anyone again the i would be arested and never see the light of day. how can you restrain yourself when a 50 year old egyptian pool cleaner is trying to hit on your eleven year old child ???

horrible place, horrible people. leave them to it.

people may complain that cyprus is expensive but you pay for what you get. tourists here are not harassed, we are not an islamic theocracy, and you can walk the streets day and night and feel safe.

I have a relative who visited Sharm el Sheikh a couple of years ago and, apart from being hustled by taxi drivers/guides, no - what they told me of their experience was totally different to what I experienced in Cairo.

I was warned before I went so I knew what to expect. I was still shocked/surprised.

But it did give me the best laugh I had last year - to meet beggars who 'don't take coins' lol! 2 euro coins not welcome - minimum 5 euro note spend with the beggars there!

The people carrier we were in moved slowly because of the AWFUL traffic - the beggars ran alongside putting their arms in the open windows.

(Mind you everything they were selling was a lot cheaper than in the shops!)

Lots of hotels there do not serve alcohol at all now. And those that do charge a bomb for it.
