Turkey would discuss full troop withdrawal

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Turkey would discuss full troop withdrawal

IN A SPEECH, he made at the University of Bosporus, 10 days ago, Turkey’s Minister of European Affairs Egemen Bagis, said that Turkey would even discuss the withdrawal of all troops from Cyprus.

“In Cyprus, Greece also has troops and Britain has military bases. If there is a possibility, for all the troops to withdraw, then come and let’s talk about it.”

Agreeing to discuss the full withdrawal of Turkish troops from Cyprus is unprecedented in the history of the Cyprus problem. So much so, it should have become a leading news item in the media. But it was ignored and did not make it into the ongoing Cyprus problem debate.

Has this story been ignored? It's certainly the first I've heard of it.

Thats because no one beleives them as they are just full of shit.

They don't mean any of it, just trying to grab headlines to look the good guys.

They couldn't even honer the 8th july agreement FFS, why the hell would they remove their troops.

I bet VP is now shitting herself

You think so? If there is a possibility for VP's shit to withdraw, then come and let’s talk about it, VP.

What would an eastern Thracian know? Can you check with Turkey's Minister of European Affairs Egemen Bagis, and get back to me. He says he wants to discuss troop withdrawal.

Whilst the Turkish troops are clearly an occupation Force, the others are NOT!

By cleverly aligning himself with the others, Bagis is denying Turkey's illegality whilst also ignoring the legality of other (European) Forces.

Nope! No deal.

Turkey does not call the shots with the EU. Turkey has to do what the EU has already, many times, demanded and withdraw without conditions!
