Whats "compadre"?

Hi Mic,

"Compadre" is the Spanish word for what in English is known as "best man/Godfather," and in Greek is known as "koumparos." Sorry, but my Turkish is lacking. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to post the Turkish word if one exists.

"Commadre" is the feminine form.

Diddo, compadre.

Vaftiz. Really? Now there's another word common to the Turkish and Greek languages.

Despite assertions to the contrary, you're more similar than many people like to admit... :D
