The Turkish Cypriot president said on Saturday that their state had a property policy that would not cause any problems in the future.

President Dervis Eroglu of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said the TRNC state had adopted a property policy that would not cause problems in the future and that would not cause any row between the two nations in Cyprus.

"We do not think of discussing any other issue that completing our negotiations on property issue," Eroglu told reporters in Lefkosa, TRNC.

Eroglu said he would express TRNC's stance on property issue during his first meeting with Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias.

TRNC's property policy aimed to reach an agreement without changing the current order, Eroglu said.

Eroglu said the TRNC was willing to solve Cyprus problem by the end of 2010, and was sincerely carrying out such a policy.

"If the Greek Cypriot administration shows the same will and sincerely shows its will for a solution, it is possible to reach a settlement," Eroglu also said.

Eroglu paid his first formal visit to Turkey on Friday, and met Turkey's President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Chief of General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug.

During his talks with Turkish executives, Eroglu discussed the ongoing negotiation process in Cyprus, and TRNC's economy.
