Free Greek lessons from the government?

Postby sal » Sat Jun 19, 2010 9:31 am

Hi everyone
Someone in the village told me that there are free Greek lessons available in Cyprus and the government provide them. Is that right?

I've been learning at home and can read and write ok now but need more help on the speaking to get my confidence up.

Does anyone know if you can get the info online or should I go to the simvoulio?

Hi Sal. You won't get this in the villages but in all towns they have the 'epimorphotiko' centres which do government funded lessons of different subjects and Greek language is one of them. Just ask around for this centre and someone should be able to guide you to the one near you.
