So the Admin has given YFred a "leave of absence" for a month for YFred's abusive behaviour towards the Admin, as I understand it.
May I ask what is the big deal with our friends who are adamant to get YFred back to the forum before his "sentence" is finished.??
I may feel sorry for YFred just because he is experiencing CF "withdrawal effects" at the moment being locked out of the forum much like what a drug addict goes through for not getting their daily "fix", and by all indications, YFred is a CF junkie, is the reason why he jumps into any topic that may be open, whether he knows what he is talking about or not, or whether he is giving ill support to another forum members arguments, whether he understands them or not, just so long as he is participating. That is a classic CF junkie by all definitions..
Personally, we can all do a little break from YFred's thousands of pointless posts, including YFred himself, from himself. He should take this time as an opportunity to reflect back on the posts he has made in the last year or so and see that he has hardly made any direct contribution in advancing serious discussions on any major topics, other than his contributions on Turkish Music. Let him take a break and come back fresh. Personally I'm not holding my breath that he can improve himself, but there is always a chance that he might.
How is YFred's "Freedom of Speech and HR" are violated, just because he has been banned for a month, if he in fact was abusive to the Admin.? Freedom of Speech has it's limitations like everything else in life, and once certain lines are crossed, consequences follow, so I don't think YFred's FoS or his HR has been violated by the CF, considering the fact, that CF is a private entity, which can makes it's own rules as they want. We as participant members need to recognise and accept those rules, regardless how many times we may have gotten away by breaking those rules in the past. It does not mean we can break them with impunity without being punished for it in one form or another.
So, I'll tell YFred to take a month long deserved "vacation" from the CF and come back with fresh attitude towards his fellow CF members. I'm sure other CF members will respond to him in kind, if he does.!
