How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Open Threat By "BirKibrisli"

Postby Omer Seyhan » Fri Jun 18, 2010 2:21 am

Even when posting on an internet forum there are those who cannot take disagreement so they threaten directly or indirectly other forum users. Imagine what these folk must be like in real life or with their wives / children.....

Today, this is what BirKibrisli said to me in the thread "Cypriot Nationalism can it exist now?" this evening during a disagreement. You can go back and check it...

Master of evasions srikes again...I have asked him/her to tell me which parts of my post were poppycock, spelled out real events, and all he can do is try to distort what I said...

So,you believe the young TCs in Cyprus can go forward without dealing with their past...Fantastic,let them do it...But the results of the Presidential and the parliamentay elections suggests otherwise....By the way,how many young TCs left in Cyprus??? Insist on keeping your head in the sand and your arse in the air,and one of these days you will get what is coming to you
...

Bravo BirKibrisli - TMT is NOT dead....

This unhealthy approach to debate and new ideas my friends is the residue of the TMT in the Turkish Cypriot community today.

As we know, it is the TMT's "violence is better than dialogue" approach that led to the assassination of journalist Kutlu Adali in the 1990s. Decades after TMT executed Trade Unionist Derviş Ali Kavazoğlu, Journalist / lawyers Ahmet Muzaffer Gürkan and Ayhan Hikmet and many others....

Today its new targets are Sener Levent, Ali Osman, Umit Inatci , Evren Maner, Ibrahim Aziz and Nese Yasin, Sevgul Uludag....

This is the TMT's legacy on the Turkish Cypriot community. This is why we cannot have a debate ad therefore we cannot move forward. This is why partition as an idea is rarely challenged but any talk of unity causes anger and threats from a few fascists, while the rest are too afraid to speak out.

TMT was never a protector but the cause of fear and terror both real and psychological in the Turkish Cypriot community. Few dare to question TMT past and present coercision or killings of Turkish speaking Cypriots - instead the pigeon-brains of the community prefer to blame the 'Greek embargo' - its easier than to deal with their own vile monster....

This is the state of the Turkish Cypriot community today.

I suggest that it would be better to be on this forum for more than 10 seconds before attacking a respected poster like bir.

I have been monitoring your post without replying, I to am a dreamer that ideally would like us all just to be brothers but my dreams are mixed in with the realities that are undisputable.

You articulate the these dreams or quazi visions of unity without offering any real tangable ways to make to those dreams become a reality.

And that is what bir has called you out on. Also it seems that most of your research about the cp is done through books which is not always a bad thing, but you seem to only post things which are one sided, and myopic which is very much a bad thing.

Take your post on the TMT; who yes done wrong within the tc community but this was far outweighed by the right that they did do for us. I suggest that you speak to some tcs that were around at the time to form a more balanced view.

To dream is nice, but let's see you starting offering real tangible ways to bring our two communities together and compromisses to these ends, then let's see if your dreams can become real even on a message board.

Respect is treating others the way you'd want to be treated. If the poster in question is 'respected' then he's also a two syllabled expletive beginning with 'w'.

If a conventional democracy based on the EU Charter is not possible for Cyprus, then sadly, the only options available to the GCs is Status Quo or an 82-18 Agreed Partition.

We can implement the EU Charter on our side and the TMT TCs such as Bir can skew democracy on "their" side all they like to favour Turkey.

We are not obligated to abandon fundamental HR just to appease a few TCs such as Bir or to punish ourselves for any wrong doings on our part. It is becoming increasingly evident to me that I will never be able to live with many TCs such as Bir and become a second class citizen in my country of roots. All other reasonable forward thinkers such as Omer are excluded of course.

Sorry Omer, nothing against you mate. But most TCs seem to think that your 'utopia' is not possible. I can't accept anything less I'm afraid, and that's just me.

Now I will be accused of being a fascist partitionist, all because the core issue for me is standardized Democracy and HR where the rights of the citizen are protected by a Constitutional Bill of Rights and the implementation of the EU Charter over all of Cyprus.

I don't believe these are fascist words, but that won't stop people like DTA and Bir.

I can never live with these people. Sorry again.

It is time the negotiations focus on one issue alone. Land.

Then build a cement wall and keep these gypsies on the north side of it.

Only a prized idiot like "Omer Seyhan" would take my light hearted comments as a threat...This person is not only phoney,he/she lacks any sense of humour...How could I possibly threaten anyone TMT style on an internet forum??? I have no idea where you live or what your real identity is...Do you really think I have nothing else to do with my time than plot violence against you or any other Forumer...???

Now lets try it once again, "Omer" my friend, insist on keeping your head in the sand and your arse up in the air and one of these days you will get what is coming to you!!! Now what could that be I wonder????

"Then build a cement wall and keep these gypsies on the north side of it."

With this you demonstrate why we can not live together.

Telling me I must compromise fundamental democratic and HR rights certainly convinces me that we are not compatible.

I will never live or expose my family to this! Therefore, you gypsies can just keep away!

You've been monitoring but your too superior intellectually to respond. Instead you only address me when I complain about your friend. Could it be you are the same person or part of a small network of dim wits whose goal is to keep drilling the idea that Cypriots need partition?????

You are not falling anybody...
