Ranch for rent

Postby Omer Seyhan » Thu Jun 17, 2010 11:53 pm

Hi guys,

I have a ranch to rent that was given to me by my great uncle. It is available from 22 September on wards if anybody is likely to be in Chile.

This is a very open spacious house with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 320 m2 (3200 sq ft) house on a 4.000 acre working ranch in southern Puerto Montt.

Lots of natural beauty to be seen, lots of fresh beef (we rear our cows on cereals and beer), and its only half-an-hour's drive to all necessities. Access to 3.000 acres of private virgin forest.

Rent: $1500 per week.

Anybody interested can email me.

Probably in the barn. If you haven't been you should go to Chile - there is a small Cypriot (most Turkish speaking community) in Puerto Montt - about 30 / 40 people.

Omer, your post contains an inevitable question. How on earth do 40 TCs end up in southern Chile of all places?

Its all two families actually. After copper mining ended in Cyprus, the men worked on Greek ships but were unhappy with pay. Until the came across Chile and found work at Chuquicamata - Chile's main copper mine, for which their skills were useful and commanded better pay.
