BRT 1 NOW IN AUSTRALIA

Bayrak Television’s 1st channel can now be watched in Australia, thanks to a cooperation protocol signed between Bayrak Radio Television Corporation and Turk-Plus, Australia’s first and only Turkish news broadcasting channel.
Viewers across Australia can now watch BRT 1st full day broadcasts by tuning onto the Turk-Plus platform.
A three year cooperation protocol was signed between BRTK and Turk Plus on the 9th of June.

Doubtless, few Aussie Turkish speaking Cypriots will object to BRTK's insistence on calling us 'Turks of Cyprus'... even though it has caused anger in Cyprus and in the UK.

But then again the few Aussie Cyps that I have met are stuck in 1964....

There are not many TCs in Australia.

The few older TCs probably are stuck in the past. I have good tc friends in Melbourne, and these guys are some of the nicest people you can meet. They are not stuck in the past and object strongly to Turkey.

The younger generation object being called Cypriot. They are Australian and nothing else!

That is what Australia does. It has a very efficient education system which will inject Australian pride in the younger generations.

A prominent Australian politician once said that they do not care so much about first generation migrants. They come to fill our labour needs. We care about their children, for they will be the next Australians.

With BRT now in Australia, and the RoC axing CyBc, what does this say about the RoC Government and its attitudes to the Cypriot diaspora?

Does it matter if the GC diaspora in Australia may consider itself to be Cypriot or Greek and later be converted entirely to Australian? I don't think it matters at all!

Also Private KIBRIS GENÇ TV started to broadcast to Australi also they can be watch from America as well.
More TC's TV channels will be over to atlantic very soon.

All the Tv channels are on aired from the Bayrak Nicosia Transmission center as a one package. New one AS TV will be on the package very soon.

our target is to bring all TC's channels over to Australia.

Also Bayrak radio from Sydney power out putwill be increased.
