Is that it?

What's so pointless about it? I thought the topic is quite rational especially since many here have an over inflated sense of self worth where they seem to think that their input or opinions on this forum will impact in some way, shape or form on the Cyprus Problem etc....

No way mate. Would rather be a second class citizen in my country of birth, wouldn't want to be a second class citizen in country of roots/genes as well.

Oh sorry... you said young and dynamic... counts me out anyway.

As I said mate, people are free to live anywhere they like.

The way I see things, Cyprus is far too unstable to attract any reverse migration. As you said, moving to Cyprus and being a second class citizen is not very appealing to most of us. Not much of a future inmho.

Much better to wait and see what comes out of the negotiations. If there is a 'solution' such as or similar to Annan, then many GCs in Cyprus will jump ship. No point living in such a country, where political, democratic, and human rights are afforded to racial communities.

I would almost prefer to live in Iran!

.... posting insults and untruths about me in the hope that they can get my attention and beg a reply from me!

It's particularly deemed desperately delusional, to label another poster as me just to further garner attention from others.

Like those who swore they would 'jump ship' if Christofias got elected?

None of them did.

However, it cannot be long before Cypriots are in the minority in Cyprus if all other nationalities are added up together.

I doubt it will matter that much to most of them. Most of them already live elsewhere.

Most people moving here from the UK do not move here to further their careers and raise a family. It is in the main people who are retired and whose families are grown and gone. Lots of GCs I know lived and worked in London most of their lives and only came back to Cyprus after retirement.

And most of them are not Cypriot citizens, just permanent residents.

Yes, if there is a 'solution' similar to the Annan Plan, many thousands will leave. There really is no substitute for living in a conventional democracy, and should Cyprus fall short, well there is no way I would live there.

I would sell property and throw a rock over my shoulder! Cyprus will be written off! Redundant!

This is why the Annan Plan was never an option for me and many more Cypriots.

No Cypriot seriously stated they would leave because of Christofias. This was only a joke and is common in Cypriot politics!

People said the same thing about Clerides and Vasiliou! You are just being ridiculous. Are you sure you live in Cyprus, because it doesn't sound like it.
