Cyprus Mail sense of humor?

Postby Nikitas » Wed Jun 16, 2010 2:04 pm

From the Cyprus Mail today:

"undercover police caught two Romanian prostitutes red handed in Paphos at the weekend.

The reports also allege that the women would change roles depending on the customer's preference.

Rita Superman, head of the police’s anti-trafficking unit, said: "The police use any tool which is legal to prove that offences have been committed."

How is a prositute caught red handed? Perhaps the color trasnferred from that "tool" that Superman's unit employed. Either this guys has a sense of humor or the Editor was asleep. And Rita Superman, should that not be Rita Superwoman, or was that a role change?

One more funny bit of news from yesterday's BBC news.

A four story fiberglass statue of Christ was struck by lightning and burnt in USA yesterday. The insurers said it was "an acto fo God".

Boomerang, I see that I must cede specialisation on the subject to your superior knowledge.

DO you know if Superman wears that tight shirt with an "S" on the chest?
