According to Politis paper today Talat is criticising Eroglu for falling into a GC trap and opening the properties and territory issue. Talat says the issue is too complicated and should have been left last, with priority going to the issue of power sharing. That had been his tactic during the talks he added. So it seems that dealying tactics is not an exclusive GC tactic.
As for Eorglu, the paper says that he is unwilling to commit any areas where settlers or TCs have been housed for a long time. This would seem to bar all areas from return. Apart from Famagusta are there any other areas near the demarcation line which are not inhabited? Seems like there are none.
In the properties issue Eroglu says that the "rights" of the current occupier should outrank title, an idea which is definitely not going to fly with any property owners, either GC or TC.
