Thinking of moving to cyprus and driving over with 2 dogs in car. Has anyone driven with dogs and how easy to find overnight accomodation on route, AND would you advise that I rent for the first year?

Any advise would be very helpful. thank you

Driving over with dogs is a gonna be very difficult. As you cross borders, pet passports, rabies test results, vets to check etc etc etc. I would advise against it. send them by plane and meet them here.

if you are intending to purchase then renting is a good option to at least determine where you would be happy to live. Have you researched anything else about Cyprus?

Do you have wife, children, need schooling, jobs etc etc etc.

Good luck.

Ignore gaYFred. You have obviously done a lot of research and planned your move very carefully. How are you going to drive here?

The north is unknown territory, illegal full of criminals and about to get obliterated. Why would I send anyone to his fate there?

You occupy the north temporarily, tomorrow you will be gone as well as your carpetbaggers.

Good day.
