Cannot explain to someone who lives in london and should now the slang.........

What makes you think I live in London? Far from it old boy. Wouldn't be seen dead in London where all the great unwashed live.

Fred Lives in Richmond upon thames, Used to be a nice place years ago but London is creeping up on him - soon be a "Suburb" :)
Used to go there to a pub come dancehall called the Castle i think, near the bridge - probably well before your time Fred, dont know what it is now.. But it was only a short drive from Kensington in those days.

Ere BOF how do you know where I live? Do I know you?
The Dance hall and the Icerink have both gone I am afraid, converted to posh flats.

All we now have is a stinkey river front, which floods with sewereage everytime it rains.

Ham is very run down now. No pit selft. One big council estate which has been sold to the residents by Mrs T but still remains run down.

Kingston has developed well and has the biggest shopping city in South west.
