Was Makarios exhibiting "feminine logic" when he patronised the TCs to make them feel inclusive?

Original TC? Huh! Think again ...

Huh? :?

On a different note, don’t you just love those totally inaccurate and misleading ancient maps? I’ll bet more ancient sailors died using them than those that didn’t!

Might explain the colossal number of Mycenaean shipwrecks scattered along our coastline.

But, I was alluding to Makarios' reasons for choosing the "TC created" RoC flag. He was already sympathetic to this ancient map plus Byzantine eagle:

Perhaps the malicious gossip was true that he had a little bit of Turk in him?

I've never heard of such a thing but no doubt this is how you Turks start your propaganda. But, it is well known that, despite your slurs, Makarios was fair to all the Cypriots and he demonstrated this once again by choosing a flag designed by a TC. I was drawing out the similarities in colours between the GO church's flag and the ancient map of Cyprus outlined in yellow/gold/copper. So, the TC's design was not so original and perhaps why it was appealing.

From what should I be squirming? Your failure to comprehend without explicit details?

Sweet!

So you agree there are similarities. Put this to rest now, please.

Israel's Delek wants Cyprus facility to export gas

NICOSIA, Cyprus

http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financia ... S84201.htm

Israeli energy firm Delek is proposing a partnership with neighboring Cyprus to build a facility on the island to export natural gas discovered in the eastern Mediterranean.

In a Jan. 9 letter addressed to Cypriot President Dimitris Christofias seen by The Associated Press on Thursday, Delek CEO Assi Bartfeld says the facility would also be used to meet Cyprus' domestic energy needs "for decades."

Bartfeld says the gas would come from the Leviathan field discovered off Israel that contains more than 450 billion cubic meters (15.9 trillion cubic feet) as well as deposits believed to lie inside Cypriot waters.

The facility would also be able to liquefy the gas for export to "consumers all over the world."
