The Cypriot-Israeli Alliance to free Cyprus.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Everyone should get excited about making new "friends". :D However, aside from the trivial, this is an alliance forged through common interests (Oil Exploration, peace, land restitution) and no one is foolish enough to pretend everything is pure. Turkey is constantly changing (Constitutions) wanting to show improvement, so why isn't the rest of the world allowed changes? They might be - and probably will be, but mostly hopefully shall be - for the better!

Land restitution, Peace and Israel in one sentence!!!!!!!!!!!

Too many people in this thread are concerned with something that is not theirs. The huge gas find is wonderful news for Israel. It will also make the RoC step up its own efforts to find natural gas off its coastal water. See, wonderful news.

Why didn't you make the same remark the past 20 years of Israel-Turkish brotherhood?

At the time I didn't think that there was any need

Not meaning to be rude, but I'm not interested in lengthy battles with your comprehension struggles.

...It's so pleasant getting drowned
So we drink and sink and talk and stalk
With interchangeable enemies and friends
Trying on each other's skins
While we're dying to be born again...

Thank you, insan, I too have been on the forum long enough to recognise the psychology of most forumers and their ambitions! :D

At the time I didn't think that there was any need as there were enough GCs around to point out what they felt was the similar invasion/building/settling/UN ignoring behaviour of Turkey and Israel.

Open mouth, insert foot!

ignored many UN resolutions

Israel ignored 'many' UN resolutions?

The list is almost endless!

But I suppose they can be forgiven that by some if they are going to be Cyprus' anti Turkey buddy!

Any links to where this 'Alliance' to 'Free Cyprus' has been signed or stated? Or is it just a figment of someone's desperate imagination?

A bit naughty not to give the whole sentence, so subtly changing its meaning.

What I actually said was:
At the time I didn't think that there was any need as there were enough GCs around to point out what they felt was the similar invasion/building/settling/UN ignoring behaviour of Turkey and Israel.
