Hey guys, Iraq is playing Cyprus in 2 weeks. How do you think it will end?
I think its going to be a very good, competetive game. I think we are pretty evenly match.

Well we Iraqis have been eyeing this thing for a about 2 months now!!

Let me say as a Iraqi, we are VERY VERY thankful for the Cyprus people inviting our team. At a time were our 'arab brothers' reject us for a simple friendly game, it is nice to have good peoplel like cypruts accepting our friendly and welcoming us to their homes.
At this point, I can only seem to find arabic articles about the match
The game is on August 13
I will be actually in Athena at Aug 13, I was wondering if their is any cheap way to get to cyprus? I saw its around 400 dollers american for round trip. Thats abit pricy and probably not worth going

I dont know much about Iraq's national team but i know that Iraq's team was pretty good in the Olympic Games and it will be a hard game for Cyprus.However just because im a proud Cypriot i voted that Cyprus will win
As for Cyprus hosting this game, well i think Cyprus overall keeps excellent relations with Arabic countries and im not surprised by this game taking place in Cyprus.
Also may i note that the head of Apollon Limmasol footbal team Freddy Paul John is from Iraq and 2-3 Iraqi players have signed with Apollon for this coming season.
And may the best team win
