That sand is not natural, you can still see the shovel marks.

Moan time ....

Was thinking the other day, you don't see many gulls on the CY coast/beaches... nor a decent tide, all you get is blooming sand, warm sea, barely dressed ladies and heat ... oh and people playing that bleeding noisy, monotonous tennis type game with a hard rubber ball and wooden bats... what a racket!

Bill most of the sand seems to dry to a hard crust here. Not soft at all.

Anyway don't be such a cynic YFred - there is sand like that in the Caribbean. Z4 didn't say it was a Cyprus beach.

I will try to find you a photo of some.
