Pete, everyone in the North London suburbs that has CY associations will tell you the best place to go is one of Kiki's shops.

I use the one at Cockfosters, on a corner in the parade on the Cockfosters Road EN4, a few hundred yards from the Tube Station.

They'll chop up first rate English lambs in to souvla sized bits if you phone them up and order it ..... 020 8441 4832

Was there about four weeks ago and half a lamb was about (speaking from memory) £70.

(am not associated or related to them)

Pete, what kind of a Cypriot are you if you are unable to de-bone a leg of lamb and then chop it up into cubes?

No mate ... half a lamb. It was English new season.

Coincidentally I did go up to our usual butchers in our local High Street this morning and ordered a whole lamb... an NZ one for our day to day consumption for£GB58.

Mind you the best lamb... I picked up many years ago in North Wales on our way back from a holiday up there. Remember well it cost £40 for a whole one and it was the finest most tender and most beautiful lamb have ever eaten.

You don't de-bone the meat for Souvla, gaYFred, you just hack it into lumos.
