I just might throw a few scraps at Oracles compatriots this year…
You just can't stay away from our Motherland!
An annual pilgrimage is it?

On those ships pets can be transported as long as they are kept under strict control or in the special pets section on deck for bigger dogs. On the Adriatic lines they even have sand pits for the dogs to do their business.
Ray, 12 person cabins? Where did you see that? I have been goind back and forth to Italy by boat for years and never seen such a thing. Max cabin capacity is 4 in most ships and for economy travel there are the pullman seats, or deck in a covered area.
I managed to travel to Cyprus on a merchant ship and the cabin was a one berth with shower deal. It did take two days though and most of that time out of reach of cell phone contact.
