It goes without saying that if Cyprus was taking part in the world cup my support would be wholeheartedly for the national team , alas we have been left ...out !!

Traditionally I have always supported and still do the English national team this time realizing that ALMOST the entire island of Cyprus will be supporting the Greek team .
I shall be watching all their games , Greek team , as well as those of England and will be fully supporting BOTH of them.
My family in Cyprus will of course be supporting the Greek team and so will every , almost every , Greek Cypriot apart from you know who.
The dilemma now is the scenario of England playing Greece , my half English son here in the UK will naturally support the English team and so will most of my UK family, however my Cypriot family as well as ALMOST the entire island will be supporting Greece and you know what , knowing the happiness that a Greek win will bring to the island of Cyprus , so will I !!!

I am more selective in a round about way. I will support any team that has an Arsenal player, past and present. So that's every single team included, so I am bound to win.

That's assuming they keep it together after being robbed at their hotel.

Sorry, but I predict a first round exit, but for greece's sake, I hope they do well and bring a little happiness back home to the people struggling to cope under the miserable blanket of austerity measures.

I remember talking to RichB the last world cup on here and we were both gutted that England got knocked out. This world cup I really couldnt give a damn if we win or get knocked out group stages. They are all a bunch of tw4ts and paid too much money.
