Too right. This is especially the case in the north. The stupidity and greed of these selfish individuals has fuelled a corrupt system which exists on exploiting even more fools. Not only that but these outsiders have obviously contributed to the property barrier to final settlement. What kind of idiot hands over the money for a house without securing "permission" to purchase from the Turkish authorities or getting the title transferred into their name? I'm banned from every forum in the north apart from NCFP so I hope some of them read this and recognise themselves. Elderly, bewildered and special needs apart, they brought it on themselves and the sharks exploited them. With the odd exception, there's no reasoning with these people. Hell mend them.

Morning Eric, I too have been banned from some (but only for about 111,000 days! It's to do with the company I keep lol!) Others haven't rumbled me yet. But one of them has started putting real name above screen name on postings! Oh dear, that would not suit my purposes AT ALL! So I am abstaining from that one voluntarily!

You would think Oracle would be aware of all this property stuff in the RoC - considering she has a pad in Pafos. That's where it seems most are having problems. (I mean BIG problems - the IMT scam stuff goes on all over).

2. Brits in particular are suckers for punishment! You’d think that all the bad publicity and warnings would deter them but no… they just keep coming for more so they MUST be stupid!

3. By far, the biggest crooks in Cyprus are the “Turkish Cypriots” because not only have they stolen the properties of Greek Cypriots and selling them off illegally, but they are also stealing them for a second time from the corrupt Brits they sold them to! As the only non-pseudo Pafian, let me respond to the above.

1. This clearly as does not apply to me, as I am above reproach - and have my Mod's medal to prove it.

2. While the majority of buyers of new properties in Pafos, over the last few years, have been British, I know of many other nationals who will be affected by what has happened in the ROP (Republic of Pafos) including many Cypriots. British people know, from their experince in the UK, you can always trust what Lawyers and Estate Agents tell them.

3. I couldn't possibly comment!

also agree that he is a politician and that's the point... found he could make a lot of political capital by jumping onto the agendas of a locally powerful minority group over in the East End of London and organising to best personal advantage.

The best bit was when he asked the senator how much oil the US had stolen from Iraq?

I was not referring to that part of his political life but the bit he dedicated to Labour movement most of his life.
