Turkish Frigates F244 and F243 in Greek Waters.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

A "humanitarian" mission which ended up nearly killing IDF soldiers!

But since they are just soldiers, their lives don't count even if their intention was to hurt no one but conduct a routine police operation.

What a joke.:

'Ava giden avlandı'..................the hunter got hunted.

Fancy that..................professional killers got slapped in the face so they murdered. Where has your credibility gone.

Boarding Parties are not there to hunt anyone Deniz!

You obviously think this is some kind of joke. Hundreds of vessels are boarded around the world by Costguard, troops, police, and I can assure you, their only concern is that no one gets hurt.

Sorry Deniz, but you are being very silly.

Just because they are soldiers, does not make them murderers or sub human.

Pull the other one Paphitis. These are full time killers. When they need a bit of practice, they send a few jets over or a few tanks over to bomb the shit out of the inhabitants of Gaza. Usually rendering them homeless. They have been brutalised beyond belief. Your defending these murderers does not wash with me.

Don't be so silly Deniz!

Soldiers are not full time killers. They are trained to do a job, and killing people on a routine police operation is something they would rather avoid at all cost! There is nothing to gain from their perspective to do such a thing, and they themselves would have been expecting a routine boarding and securing of the bridge and engine room!

Your ever so innocent posts regarding Israel is indicative of your lack of knowledge of what went on in the past. No point in responding to such ignorant posts.

Deniz, whatever has happenned in the past is completely irrelevant to the boarding of the MAV Marmara and other flotilla ships.

The soldiers that boarded did so to complete a very basic operation which should not have cost the lives of anyone. There was no intention to kill anyone aboard, but sadly, the soldiers got pinned down by aggressive individuals and were forced to react.

Don't think I'd be too happy if I was attacked by a wild pipe-wielding Turk.

Some of the scenes on that boat were very reminiscent of the treatment given out to our late brother Isaac (may he rest in peace) in the buffer zone a few years ago.

I do not see the similarity with Isaac (RIP) but will not make an issue of it.

As far as Turks are cocerned the ship carrying a Turkish flag was attacked by armed pirates. They had everyright to defend themselves. Forgive . but there is another Turkish saying: " Bayrağımın dalgalandığı yer VATANdır". Translated as: Whereever my flag flıes ıs my home/fatherland. I suppose they were not going to put up with the shenanigans of the Azrailites.

This flotilla's actions were so well publicised, it would have been unthinkable that any arms would be carried, yet they still got attacked by the Azrailites.

....there was no doubt that they would be boarded; any other thinking is fantasy.

that the israelis stepped into it is hard to explain, knowing as they must have that violence was this time entirely a possibility. it is a failing that will haunt the IDF for a very long time, and if their denial is anything like the Turkish Army, those responsible will carry on, adding to a discipline problem which weakens them. if on the otherhand a thorough and impartial investigation results, Israel's defence forces will have Turkey to thank for their improvement.

similarly in the aegean, if Turkish forces continue to demonstrate a lack of discretion, whatever exists as a chain of command will be less functional with the likliehood of an incident just as harmful.
