Candle holder, jewelery box, pot pouri box and plate, can anyone shed any light on what the other tall piece is? (polite comments pls)

Could possibly be a spill holder for the candles!!

Looking at the markings I am not sure these pieces are particularly old

I think they are post 1940s

But a nice little set and you're probably on the money with the price.

Thanks for that, i was thinking about 1940's aswell. Not sure its a spill holder as its seperate, i thought it might be for something smelly like pot pouri aswell, but seeing as the little pot looks like its for that im not sure, maybe its some kind of vase? but for dried flowers as it has no bottom. Nice set as you say, hope someone who appreciates things like this sees it, as my house is a bit too modern.
