Israeli's commending cyprus on FB for blocking flotilla...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Israel can blow both Greece and Turkey sky high for all I care.

Only one thing matters, and that is Cyprus.

However, Greece is a NATO member, and so there is very little Greece can do.

Loving this, the GC leader fanatics will take GCs down a dumb path. When GCs realise the damage they are causing themselves it'll be a good day for trouncing on the mad men for hurting the RoC image. Get back the moderates and let's move forward.
Best case scenario for GCs if this takes shape is Turkey mainstream believe's GCs have no soul and just after the destruction of Turkey - not the case at the moment, but will be.
Worst case scenario for GCs if this takes shape is Global mainstream believe's GCs have no moral compass and back off support.

Outside of regular Israel supporting media in the US, first time I am seeing main stream comments demanding independent review and answers.

The Greeks are the only ones who can outsmart Israelis (my Jewish friend told me this is common knowledge :D ).

The Israelis obviously need our help to fend off the warring Turks.

Time to form a united front against Expansionist belligerent neighbour Turkey.

Papandreou, Obama, millions of Greeks and Jews in the Diaspora, USA or UK ... let's remove the final ottoman vestiges from our midst, for everlasting peace.

Amen .... :D

The Pixies cancel Israel concert date - Sun 6 Jun

Influential US rock group The Pixies have cancelled their first performance in Israel, blaming "events beyond our control".

The group did not specify why they were pulling out of the show, which was due to take place in Tel Aviv on 9 June.

However, organisers said the decision was linked to Israel's deadly raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla last week.

The band, whose albums include Surfer Rosa and Doolittle, were due to be headliners at the Pic.Nic festival.

Other acts - including UK bands Placebo and Gorillaz Sound System - have also withdrawn from the event.

Last month, Elvis Costello pulled out of two gigs in Israel saying that his appearance there could have been "interpreted as a political act".

This is quite true!

Apparently, the Jews have always considered the Greeks to be their equal match.

Kissinger said this himself.

Do you believe the region is being polarized by Turkey along religious grounds for a confrontation of biblical proportions? :?

On a biblical level, since when were the Greeks considered by Jewish people as also the chosen ones?

On what levels are do Jewish people consider Greek people their equal match? Gonna love to hear this one.

I can't wait, let's get into the Nazi philosophy of superior races, c'mon that's all you're missing Paphitis...

There is a well documented speach by Kissinger about Jews and Greeks. He never said the Greeks were the "chosen ones" but did say that Greek Civilisation in general, even in this day, is the only one that is 'their' match.

Research it yourself. It is on the net.

Israel has proposed sending a ship called the “No to the Turkish Invasion in Cyprus” to southern Cyprus, thus rewarding it for not supporting a Gaza aid flotilla that was halted by a deadly raid last week.

Greek Cypriot leader Dimitris Christofias, who wants to take advantage of the tensions between Turkey and Israel, has sent his foreign affairs minister, Markos Kiprianu, to Israel to meet with his Israeli counterpart, Avigdor Lieberman, to discuss the issue despite the present visit of Pope Benedict XVI on the island.

The Israeli Ministry for Defence praised the Greek Cypriot government for its “responsible approach” in not supporting the ship as it was passing from Turkey toward Gaza.

According to the Greek Cypriot daily Fileleftheros, the daily Jerusalem Post, which is published in Israel, has written that Israel will send a flotilla to southern Cyprus, carrying the message: “putting an end to the so-called Turkish invasion” in Cyprus.

According to the article, Alex Goldfarb, a former Israeli member of parliament, and Pinhas Har Zahav, an activist from the Meretz party, will be on board the ship, which will be sent from Israel to Cyprus.

It is still unknown whether or not the flotilla, whose journey to southern Cyprus will be financed by a rich Israeli businessman whose identity remains unrevealed, will also attempt to land in northern Cyprus.
