Recently, the world witnessed Turkish hypocrisy at its best. We saw Turkey Geopolitically grandstanding against the nation of Israel, hijack a peace flotilla by infiltrating this worthy cause with trained Turkish MIT and jihadist wannabe martyrs. The world witnessed Turks violently attack an IDF boarding party forcing the IDF to defend its soldiers with deadly force, and then with such audacity, they attempted to portray the IDF as the aggressor. And yet, Israel has boarded hundreds of boats in the past, the latest being the Irish MV Rachel Corrie without incident!

This Geopolitical jostling by Turkey, to polarize Islamist Forces in the region has not gone unnoticed! Turkey has chosen a Foreign Policy which is now very clear. Turkey has chosen Iran and Syria and there is no turning back.

Israel has called Turkey's bluff over the MAVI Marmara incident. Turkey has now been severely embarrassed and there is only one way to save face!

If Turkey wants to be taken seriously, then it should give Israel a piece of her mind by mobilizing its troops and Air Force. Turkey could use the occupied areas of Cyprus and Syria to launch a full scale attack on Israel! So what is Turkey waiting for?

Turkey should remember one thing! No guts, no glory!

The flotilla was not going there with the intention of bringing PEACE to the region. The intention is to BREAK THE BLOCKADE. And focus world attention on it and the suffering it causes to the Palestinians.

Some of these people believe Turkey has changed its spots. That it is now (after centuries of belligerence, expansionism, genocides) suddenly a humanitarian nation. If it was; why doesn't it first pull out of Cyprus and set a good example! Perhaps do right by the Kurds. Maybe apologise to the Armenians ...

Turkey has managed to undermine what was a humanitarian effort. We have seen Turkey's grandstanding where even Erdogan made a fool of himself when addressing Perez.

Israel will exploit this in my opinion. The media will now bring the Armenians, Cyprus and Kurds back into the headlines. What the Turks think is a PR victory, will turn into a PR disaster.

Hence the Israeli Flotilla that will head for Cyprus.
