You do realize of course Paphitis, that your punishment for your stupidities will be looooooooong and painful...

MPs deny activists on Gaza aid trip were armed

Two German parliamentarians and a former MP arrived safe in Berlin on Tuesday following an Israeli raid on a naval aid convoy for the Gaza Strip. All three politicians denied Israeli claims that those on board had been armed and provoked the violence.

Of course all other Ships were unarmed and didn't behave like Turkish lunatics! That's why they all arrived safe and sound and only the violent, unpeaceful, warmongering and barbaric Turks were shot!

I would shoot as well if I was being beaten to a pulp!

Israel is doing it's own share of bullying it's neighbours, just like Turkey.

Flexing Jewish muscle in the Med waters (international or not) is to be expected. Other flotillas are organized for the near future, some of them are on their way to Gaza as we speak. The commandos will not welcome them with flowers but with machine guns...

Neither Israel of Turkey are "saints" but rather brutal "Democracies" praying on the weak. Their time will come, punishment is way overdue.

The Palestinians deserve their homeland any which way possible, since the "negotiations" with Israel outlasted the Cyprob ones...

Don't be fooled... Israel & Turkey are on the same boat. I can find no justification for the slaugher of the flotilla members, regardless if most of them were Turks. Other nationals who participated had many negatives to report against the Israeli commandos.

No one wonders why the operation took place in the wee hours of the morning in peach dark? The Israelis wanted no video uploaded live via satellite to the rest of the world from the on board journalists.

Gaza flotilla activists were shot in head at close range

Exclusive: Nine Turkish men on board Mavi Marmara were shot a total of 30 times, autopsy results reveal

* guardian.co.uk, Friday 4 June 2010 22.00 BST

Israel was tonight under pressure to allow an independent inquiry into its assault on the Gaza aid flotilla after autopsy results on the bodies of those killed, obtained by the Guardian, revealed they were peppered with 9mm bullets, many fired at close range.

Nine Turkish men on board the Mavi Marmara were shot a total of 30 times and five were killed by gunshot wounds to the head, according to the vice-chairman of the Turkish council of forensic medicine, which carried out the autopsies for the Turkish ministry of justice today.

The results revealed that a 60-year-old man, Ibrahim Bilgen, was shot four times in the temple, chest, hip and back. A 19-year-old, named as Fulkan Dogan, who also has US citizenship, was shot five times from less that 45cm, in the face, in the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back. Two other men were shot four times, and five of the victims were shot either in the back of the head or in the back, said Yalcin Buyuk, vice-chairman of the council of forensic medicine.

The findings emerged as more survivors gave their accounts of the raids. Ismail Patel, the chairman of Leicester-based pro-Palestinian group Friends of al-Aqsa, who returned to Britain today, told how he witnessed some of the fatal shootings and claimed that Israel had operated a "shoot to kill policy".

He calculated that during the bloodiest part of the assault, Israeli commandos shot one person every minute. One man was fatally shot in the back of the head just two feet in front him and another was shot once between the eyes. He added that as well as the fatally wounded, 48 others were suffering from gunshot wounds and six activists remained missing, suggesting the death toll may increase.

The new information about the manner and intensity of the killings undermines Israel's insistence that its soldiers opened fire only in self defence and in response to attacks by the activists.

you need to read some of the eye witnes statements incuding that of an Israeli member of parliment that said the the idf fired before birding the ship and also others including those from the greek flagged ship that said although they offered no resistance they were electrocuted and beaten, youay be willing to make a deal with the devil to further your cause but it seems others are not!

And for any tc or Turks that is blanketing Jews as the cause of this grow the fuck up it is the facist Zionist that are the problem not the Jewish people, so make sure you do not fall in to trap of racism on the basis of the actions of a tempory right wing government and there indefensible actions.

I have read the eye witness accounts and have been doing some eye witnessing of my own when I saw the IDF ruthlessly being attacked by Turkish Terrorists!

You wouldn't be talking about the Palestinian member of Parliament by any chance?

I have no problems with Turkey going to war with Israel… it’ll weaken the invader/occupier of my motherland as well as the world’s most dangerous entity… Israel!

However, I do NOT confuse the plight of the Palestinians with my country’s needs! Anything that can be done to help the down trodden men, women, and children of Palestine is a good thing, and if Turkey helped in this attempt to deliver supplies then I commend them! :D
