Olde Fogey Needs IT Help!

Postby Oracle » Tue Jun 01, 2010 1:29 pm

Hello young uns! :D

Would somebody, please, explain to me (in simple English) how to open a KMZ file?

I think it has something to do with Google Earth co-ordinates.

Thank you, kindly ...

so that file uses google earth right.. what you do is save the file and open and when it asks you to either search the web or chose a file.. select chose a file then browse then locate the google earth.exe

or you can Open Explorer | click Tools | Folder Options | click File Types | find the file extension your need to set | click Change | find the executable for Google Earth.

If you have google earth installed on your machine it should automatically associate itself with it.

Thanks Palio. Too many steps for me. I'll get lost in no time :D

OK Umit .... I don't have Google Earth installed on my computer. I'll download the file sent to me on my son's computer and see if that does it.

Get Real! ... Ssshhh! ... I've managed to get a Turk to help me!

Oh good. Now you can see my village and my ex-fig plantation which is now a football pitch. Look between the Kato and Pano Anglisides. Have fun with google earth.
