How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Shifting Balance ???

Well, it's started, Turkey has successfully pissed off a major player, check this.

Perhaps the Balance is shifting, we should be prepared;

Investment house calls to divest Turkey investments
"Israeli investments in Turkey are liable to jeopardize the money of investors and savers in these times."

Adi Ben-Israel31 May 10 13:52

Halman Aldubi Investment House has called on Israeli investment houses to divest their investments in Turkey and to boycott the country in response to Turkey's condemnation of IDF's action against the Gaza flotilla.
"The Halman Aldubi investment committee has decided to liquidate all the group's investments in Turkey," the company said. "Israeli investments in Turkey are liable to jeopardize the money of investors and savers in these times. Halman Aldubi Group calls on other investment houses to join a boycott of investment in Turkey and to immediately suspend all investment in Turkey and in Turkish companies, so long as Turkey does not change its policy toward Israel."

If you can’t beat them join them…

Strategically, Cyprus should not let this debacle die out… it’s a good time to bomb a synagogue in Cyprus and blame Turkish extremists. :wink:

More than likely Cyprus would back the wrong horse.
Lets imagine a scenario where Turkey leads Arab nations against Israel , does any one see Cyprus supporting Israel and presumably the Anglo Americans who no doubt would be supporting Israel ?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. If such an event takes place the boys in blue will be along.

Cyprus needs to capitalize on Turkish/Israeli friction.

Perhaps, one day, the Israelis will give Turkey a right royal bitch slap! :lol:

A bit like they did to Hezbollah last time round in Lebanon. They went to rescue two soldiers and lost 100.

In the event of a Turkey Vs Israel confrontation we can’t afford to take sides… all we can do is help them both with ammunition supplies 50-50 fair & square!
