How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Just think of it as Israel and Cyprus joining forces against a mutual enemy - the terrorist nation of Turkey for the benefit of global and regional security.

Admit it Bananiot! If Israel gets so pissed off and then lashes out at Turkey altering the balance in Cyprus, then you would fly the Israeli flag the very next day.

My fellow Cypriots, it is time to develop new alliances.

Turkey: Future Gaza Aid Ships Will Have Military Escorts

The attacked ship was Turkish in origin and at least two of the slain aid workers were Turkish citizens. Turkey says future aid ships will be dispatched with a military escort so as to prevent future Israeli attacks.

Israel Attacks Gaza Aid Ships, Killing At Least 19

Metal sticks notwithstanding, the aid flotilla was violating no international laws in trying to deliver medicine and food to civilian victims of an Israeli blockade. Israel on the other hand was most assuredly violating international law in attacking an unarmed aid ship on the open sea.

This is fantastic news. The IDF will attack the Turkish Navy and the Turks will sink their own boats.

I don't believe the Israelis will take such a provocation. It seems to me that all out war between Israel and Turkey is not as unrealistic as we once thought.

Geopolitical shifts are well and truly in progress as we speak.

This is going to be a nightmare for the US. But I believe the US and NATO will betray Turkey should things escalate even more.

It would be good to see the IAF pulverize the TN escorts.

You are both sick in the head. You actually want war?

Well why odn't you join Israel when they attack Turkish ships so Turkey has another excuse to attack you. Then the Cyprus Problem will be solved in about 30 minutes and 10 seconds.

Paphitis, you have to realise by now that Azrail has bitten off more than it can chew. I would not bet on Azrail attacking any escort ships in international waters.

So long as the Turkish ships are armed with a sledge hammer and some sticks they'll be ok.

Let the boys have their wet dreams. Otherwise who will give them satisfaction.

What about our stated support for the Palestinians?
Only fools think that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. We are likely to hear a lot more from the light-headed of the forum. Some even read the beginning of the end of Turkey in the recent happenings. Some people never learn. Born losers really?

It takes a very unusual person to gloat about the death of anybody? She is actually mad.

As to the ones who hope that Turkey will go to war with Israel to be cut to size and then they can attack are not that different.

May their god help them all, casue there is no medication to cure them.

It all boils down to this. Deep down, most patriotic Cypriots would wish that Cyprus has the "don't fuck with me" attitude that Israel has. It sure as hell beats being "the good guy" in the region who is always destined to come last.
And yes, if it came to the crunch, I would choose Israel over Turkey 100 times over. These 2 nations are destined to clash, and I for one, would love it if Israel blew you bastards to smitherines, or contributes to the carving up of Turkey into little tiny nation states.
Turkey is far worse than Israel, and your provocative "mercy dash" was nothing of the sort. Turkey has a long history of stirring up trouble. This time, it is against a nation that is not defenceless or weak. Good luck.

It is laughable that some will see the salvation of Cyprus in the warring of other countries. If there will be a shifting of power, it will not be to the advantage of the Cypriots.

Let's be realistic Deniz. The disguised Turkish MIT "activists" attacked the IDF boarding party and the IDF was forced to defend itself against Turkish aggression.
