Shifting Balance ???

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Get Real! » Tue Jun 01, 2010 2:02 am

What we need now is to call Turkey’s bluff by funding the next flotilla to set sail, preferably from Turkey and full of Turkish activists.

Surely Erdogan can’t go back on his word and send Turks out there unescorted again!

They have a nerve (Turkey) to complain about international law violations and attacking ships in open waters, This is exactly what she is doing to Cyprus.

Yes I hope she does use military escorts, I hope also the Israeli are not deterred, but give these fuckers a good bashing. About time someone stood up to this war criminal and gave her a taste of her own medicine.

I have no love for turkey nor israel, but I would like to see turkey get her arse kicked for once, moreso, that I can see the yanks squirm as to who to support.

Yes my fellow GCs, the tide is changing, the balance is about to shift and we are looking into a new era. Maybe one of liberation.

Bring it on!

we invite WW III with this type of glee.

pakistan and russia will be drawn in, so too europe and india when yemen and the UAE explode, for a while we'll be all glad that America is still in Iraq, before whole swaths of land are turned to glass.

...the signal is the flag of Iran, as large as Turkey's on that ferry.

maybe the Army needs hordes, threatened by erdogan; large distractions helped Bush. maybe it is the start of an Islamist Alliance, as the EU appears to be a christian club.

...either way, Cyprus will be a battle ground, victim to the Proxy wars interlocutors seem to play quite safely here.

Turkey: Future Gaza Aid Ships Will Have Military Escorts

The attacked ship was Turkish in origin and at least two of the slain aid workers were Turkish citizens. Turkey says future aid ships will be dispatched with a military escort so as to prevent future Israeli attacks.

Israel Attacks Gaza Aid Ships, Killing At Least 19

Metal sticks notwithstanding, the aid flotilla was violating no international laws in trying to deliver medicine and food to civilian victims of an Israeli blockade. Israel on the other hand was most assuredly violating international law in attacking an unarmed aid ship on the open sea.

This is fantastic news. The IDF will attack the Turkish Navy and the Turks will sink their own boats.

I don't believe the Israelis will take such a provocation. It seems to me that all out war between Israel and Turkey is not as unrealistic as we once thought.

Geopolitical shifts are well and truly in progress as we speak.

This is going to be a nightmare for the US. But I believe the US and NATO will betray Turkey should things escalate even more.

It would be good to see the IAF pulverize the TN escorts.

Turkish Warships floating around the Mediterranean? In the guise of security? Pull the other one! The Turks have been planning this from the start. Excuses! Just like the TMT they sent to Cyprus to muck things up and give them the excuse to invade in 1964/74.

Bloody Turks then, and Bloody Turks now!

So "Turkey" still tells us it wants to be a good neighbour? Hahaha!

As I've often said ... Turkey is a Belligerent, Expansionist construct that the EU has to destroy, if we want peace around our borders!

Is Bananiot already condemning any visiting aliens as worthy of being destroyed by the Turks?

Two worrisome insights into Bananiot's mind:

1. That any visiting aliens are by necessity "unfriendly". Rather xenophobic in the extreme, don't you think?

2. That the Turks are so mighty or so warlike by nature, they do nothing but engage in war, without provocation. What's the threat? A visit?

Personally, if friendly/neutral aliens arrived and the Turks started bombing the hell out of them, I most certainly would side with the aliens! Human and Alien Rights must be respected! ... even if the Turks cannot manage this simple proviso of civilised conduct.

Gawd, now Bananiot has made me ashamed we still have barbarians of this magnitude, like Alien-destroying Turks representing us, on our planet to embarrass us, should we have an honoured visitation :(
