I wasn't going to come...but since taking a look through the forum I've decided I'm coming...unless you're all cool with me bailing out at such short notice...I just don't want to let every one down or come across as a coward!! :evil:

I'm in a lot of pain though!!! About 2 weeks ago I got what I thought was a nasty tooth infection...I (foolishly) went to a doctor rather than the dentist as he would not have been able to do anything but would have charged me £40 to prescribe the same antibiotics the doctor would for free. Gums were soo swollen and inflamed, I thought it's most definitely an infection, even the doctor agreed..

The antibiotics didn't work, it only ended up getting worse to the point the pain was unbearable! Last night it was so bad I felt like killing myself!!

Since it's payday I thought I'd get it seen first thing today....turned out it was my wisdom tooth that had broken in half and all that was left was an exposed root!!!! Had to have it taken out straight away which was just awful...I've been in agony with a gaping hole in my mouth all day!! I could feel the pain even in my ear for hours afterwards!!!

Wasn't prepared for it at all and had to go work which didn't help in the slightest...I was covering for another collegue who's working tomorrow so I don't have to...there was no way I couldn't show up! Was honestly going to cancel but have felt much better since coming home and taking a lethal cocktail of painkillers. :lol:

I don't feel much pain if I aviod biting down on my teeth, but that means I can't eat anything tomorrow. I'm just going to sit there dosed up to my eyeballs on cocodamol!

I'm going bed now....will be back here in the morning.....let me know your thoughts...definitely won't let you guys down if you insist on me being there....promise!

Its up to you you TC.We all know what tooth pain is. Gecmish olsun.
If you make it, I am sure Mala(pain-in -the-arse)papa will do all he can to help you forget your pain and suffering.

TC, it's great to hear that you can attend despite your pain. You will be the first to receive the CF Bravery Award........I'm not joking!

T_C! you poor thing, I do hope you are feeling better today. I hate having regular toothache let alone this!
Hope you get to the meeting - watch the alcohol with the antibiotics though!
