All I remember of the area was the abundance of 'kafenions' where gambling was a roaring business. Their basements were always converted into dens of ********. You may not ask me how I know. Suffice to say apart from belonging to a lottery syndicate I have NEVER gambled. TRUE. (except when crossing the road)
