I think they did with one or two  Israel continues to jam signals from the flotilla from its press and tv onboard, why, IF the soldiers were NOT the ones doing the attacking. How much video will 'disappear' before the press boat finally arrives at Haifa.

If they thought they had PR problems with this flotilla I suspect that they might now have one or two more trying to break the blockade. The international condemnation must be deafening for them, BUT I doubt they care much.
THEY HAVE NEVER CARED IN THE PAST AND THEY WILL NOT CARE NOW , (and they keep on about the holacost, they are no differant than Hitlar)

Apparently, Israel had no issue if the aid was handled in either their own or Egyptian Ports.

Perhaps Egypt is in cahoots with 'Israel'. (Camp David and all that). Is Egypt in Israels pocket? One wonders. :?

Mubarak has been performing falatio to American presidents for quite a few years now… in turn he gets praised by the US and remains in power by disposing of the competition in the name of “terrorism”!

Apparently Egypt made the offer to avoid any potential nastiness. The Israelis didn't want to restrict the movement of aid into the Gaza Strip as long as it is certain that there are no arms.

Israel apparently accepted the Egyptian offer. It is unclear why the activists rejected Egypt's diplomatic initiatives. Maybe, the activists were chasing headlines for their cause! Sad!

Me Ed wrote:... and how many innocent muslims were slaughtered by Islamists in Lahore last week?

Jesus Christ said:

"You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

first of all its act of few that sometimes r labeled as whole community.its against islam to kill innocent human beings.it was terrorist act has nothing 2 do with religious teachings
second thing is that those killed u refered to them as muslims but to make record straight they r declared non-muslims all over the world they are qadiyanis,or ahmadis.it was just explantion but terrorist act has no justification even if they were non-muslims.
as glorious quran says
whoever kills a person, unless for spreading mischief and murder, has killed all of mankind”

bsharpish wrote:No doubt the Israeli's ( and before them the colonial powers)have treated the Palestinians badly and always over react in a similar manner to any perceived or genuine threat to there nation.

BUT

A certain amount of hypocrisy going on here....

Lets examine the Israel question and actions from a comparison with the GC situation.

The area or present Israel was historically occupied by the Jewish people
They were invaded, occupied and scattered around the world a number of times by assorted empires, great powers and peoples.
They eventually regained there independance by removing British control.
They are surrounded by non democratic or hostile nations with a different belief system.
They have enclaves of the country's former owners\rulers\inhabitants prior to them reclaining there homeland who are somewhat pissed off.

Any of this sound familiar :? :? :? :?

So now you ( hypothetically)replace the relatively benign TC govt with a hardline, self admitted islamic jihad\terrorist one who shoots rockets into Nicosia etc on a regular basis and encourages suicide bombings throughout Cyprus.

Are you seriously telling me that the Greek cypriots would not impose a similar embargo and enforce it in the same manner without giving a shit about the "international community" ????

And the Jews like the turks had settlers come to palestine to increase their numbers and expand their hold....
Most of those rockets fired from Gaza would have been falling in palestinian territory a few years ago.......
wasnt Cyprus turkish territory for four hundred years??
hypocrasy rules...
