I just saw a news bulletin where Israel has claimed it will reveal video evidence that the boarding party was attacked with knives, makeshift weapons and with gunfire. Apparently, many IDF were also injured.

An Israeli Minister also claimed that there was an embedded News crew within the interception party. The footage will be released soon according to the Minister

The Minister admitted that the boarding party fired tear gas prior to boarding.

He also claims that Israel offered the aid safe passage through their own ports. They obviously wanted to check the cargo before tranferring it through the checkpoint. Apparently, this offer was rejected.

I think they did with one or two Israel continues to jam signals from the flotilla from its press and tv onboard, why, IF the soldiers were NOT the ones doing the attacking. How much video will 'disappear' before the press boat finally arrives at Haifa.

If they thought they had PR problems with this flotilla I suspect that they might now have one or two more trying to break the blockade. The international condemnation must be deafening for them, BUT I doubt they care much.

You're right. We forget that the convoy only happened because Israel keep 1,5 million hostages in Gaza - and that they intend to keep them as hostages till turn against Hamas.

The Israelis have also claimed that Egypt offered to accept the aid where it will be checked. This was also rejected by the activists.

Apparently, Israel had no issue if the aid was handled in either their own or Egyptian Ports.
